Licor Beirão
The Quinta do Meiral, located at the central region of Portugal, is Licor Beirão's headquarters and the residence of the Redondo's family, who owns the brand for over 70 years.
Located on the slopes of Lousã's mountain, in its twelve acres are planted some of the botanics used in the production of this liqueur.
It's here, at Meiral, that José Redondo daily produces the secret recipe, inherited by his father and learned with his mother, to make the liqueur that, after bottling, is sent all over the world.

This is a special recipe, created by the second and third generations of the Redondo family. As its name suggests, this new product is a symbolic tribute, which aims to honor the memory of the patriarch of this family and the "father" of Licor Beirão.
José and Ricardo Redondo, respectively son and grandson of the founder, have developed for months the recipe of this new product and proudly show the result of this innovation never before made by the brand.
Designed with the same spices and aromatic plants that make up the original recipe, this new liqueur is enriched with aged wine brandy.

Licor Beirão
On April 29 1916, José Carranca Redondo was born to make Portugal less square. Ahead of his time, he changed Portugal with his unique irreverence and creativity.
This product is a tribute to him and to those who never settle. A perfect and doubly distilled combination of amber colour and enveloping flavour with more alcoholic aromatic notes.
The redesigned bottle was inspired in an ancient liqueur, which was sold at a pharmacy in Lousã, in the nineteenth century. An elixir with digestive properties that gave rise to Licor Beirão.
Enjoy CR in its pure state, without ice, and in a balloon glass.

Produced by a small family business officially founded in 1987 by Dário Pimpão, following an old family tradition linked to the marketing of cherry fruit to liqueurs from various parts of the country.
Located in the village of Sobral da Lagoa, a parish in the municipality of Óbidos and birthplace of the production of the ginja fruit, the experience of living in an environment strongly connected to the land, the abundance in quality of several types of fruits, together with the passion and interest of Dário Pimpão in transforming this raw material into other more sophisticated and refined flavors, led to a natural evolution in the production of sweets, jams and comfits
